Siber Star Siberians
Waiting List
The Siber Star Siberians adoption process begins with an inquiry phone call or email to our owner, Cassie. She will inform you what kittens we have available and of any additional upcoming litters we have scheduled. You will then be provided with a questionnaire to help us better understand your specific needs and what kind of kitten might be the best fit for your family. Take the first step by contacting us at Siberstarsiberians@outlook.com or call us at 360-909-6023.
Next, we ask for a $200 non-refundable waitlist deposit. In order to maintain our rigorous standards to ensure the health and well-being of both our kittens and our queens, we schedule only a limited number of litters a year and demand is always high. Our waitlist determines the order of kitten selection, which means the sooner a client puts down money, the wider range of kittens you will be allowed to choose from. This deposit can also be transferable to future litters, in case you had a specific coloration in mind that wasn’t immediately available.
Once a kitten has been selected, we require a $300 non-refundable holding fee. Both the waitlist deposit and holding fee will be deducted from the total cost of your kitten.
All our kittens are hand-raised from birth to provide maximum socialization. They grow in the literal shadow of our 60 lb. Standard Poodle, resulting in cats that feel safe and comfortable around dogs in addition to other cats. Frequent trips to our local 4-H club guarantee each kitten receives lots of experience with young children for families of every shape and size.
As an organization proudly boasting our own member of the neurodivergent community, it is our continued mission to provide kittens that are raised and trained as emotional support animals for our clients with special needs. We feel strongly that well-trained and carefully socialized animals can provide their differently-abled family members with both joy and solace. In fact, it’s the reason we were drawn to Siberian Forest Cats in the first place. This is why we consider socialization and hands-on nurturing foundational to our cattery’s philosophy.
Daily weigh-ins allow us to monitor the growth of our kittens and we supplement their nutrition when necessary by bottle-feeding a special blend of formula and goat’s milk. Nail clipping, baths, and blow-drying are begun early so that these good habits can remain stress-free in the future.
At 12-14 weeks, once they’ve had their wellness checks, core vaccines, deworming, and microchips, our kittens are ready for their forever homes. We do not spay/neuter our kittens, as studies have shown it can negatively impact their health prior to six months of age.
Once you’ve paid the remaining balance, we will provide all the necessary paperwork to assure their CFA/ TICA registration and genetic bloodlines. Transportation costs and/or delivery fees are the responsibility of the buyer. International buyers are welcome!
We recommend our allergy-sufferers allow for a 90-day acclimation period. While the breed is considered low-allergen, we do not recommend Siberian Forest Cats to anyone with a history of asthma or croup-related hospitalizations.
